Diverse ski destination
In the vicinity of Sälen, you will find four ski areas: Lindvallen, Hundfjället, Tandådalen, and Kläppen. Together they account for more than a hundred slopes that are all connected. Half of the slopes are black and the other half are a combination of green, blue, and red. Every snow-lover will find what they are looking for there. Even the kids have special areas where they can playfully learn to ski or snowboard, under professional supervision.
Off-piste
There is plenty to do not only on the slopes, but also off of them. How about dog sledding, or a visit to the spa? The amount of in- and outdoor activities available makes this ski destination perfect for the whole family. In addition to all the action, you can also sit back and enjoy one of the many excellent restaurants there. In Sälen, you will find no fewer than fifty! The Skistar Sälen area consists of no fewer than four ski areas: Lindvallen, Hundfjället, Tandådalen and Högfjället. Together, they include over 50 miles of slopes. Ski buses run between these four areas, allowing you to explore a different area each day if you wish. Lindvallen and Högfjället are connected, so you won't even have to take a bus for those. There is a wide selection of black, green, blue, and red runs to choose from. Every snow-lover will find what they are looking for there, even the littlest ones, since there are special children's zones where they can learn to ski or snowboard, under professional supervision. The kids are also taken care of indoors, with games and other fun activities available. In the meantime, the rest of the family can rack up some miles on the slopes!
There is also plenty to do off of the slopes in Sälen. Discover the wide choice of indoor activities at Experium in Lindvallen. A water park, cinema, and bowling alley are all included. The exciting 'Troll Forest', and the largest children's area in Europe, are also recommended for the whole family. Anyone looking for a child-friendly ski destination is in the perfect place. You will fly into Scandinavian Mountains Airport (SCR) from London Heathrow (LHR) with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS). This flight takes approximately 2.5 hours.
Transfer
In the booking steps it is possible to book a transfer. If you book a transfer via Sunweb, it will be a shared transfer to and from the resort. The average transfer time to Sälen is approx. 30 minutes.

The 7th/8th day of your ski pass will be free! You must select the number of days yourself during the booking process.
Ski passes for children up to and including 6 years old are free. Children from 7 - 17 years old, and seniors from 65 years old, will receive a discount on their ski pass. These discounts can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting the ski pass.
Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem the ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of the ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further into the booking steps. The discount for “no ski pass” can also be found in the booking process.
