Campitello di Fassa

The village of Campitello is located at 1440 meters altitude, about 2km from the popular ski resort of Canazei. Campitello Canazei is smaller than but just as vibrant. The old town has lovely shops which create a wonderful winter atmosphere. The combination of luxury hotels and the rustic setting of Campitello make this a perfect holiday destination for all.

The 'Col Rodella' area is 1,000 meters above Campitello and numerous opportunities for beginner skiers and snowboarders. The lift will take you directly to the area. Unfortunately it is not possible to return to Campitello, but you can ski down to Canazei. There is free ski bus to take you back (10 minutes). We often hear stories about people enjoying the après-ski in Canazei before catching the bus.

Dolomiti Superski

Twelve resorts, all under one lift pass Dolomiti Superski! The breathtaking mountain scenery of the Italian Dolomites provides an amazing amount of runs. The Dolomiti Super Ski Pass gives you access to 1200km of varied pistes and 450 lifts. Even the most seasoned skiers will find something new here! Experience the convenience of one ticket for the areas of Val Gardena, Val di Fassa, Arabba Marmolada, Alta Badia, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Kronplatz, Sextner Dolomites, Val di Fiemme, San Martino di Castrozza, Valle Isarco Trevalli-Moena and Civetta .

The legendary Sella Ronda includes four of these twelve ski areas (Val Gardena, Val di Fassa, Alta Badia and Arabba Marmolada). On skis or snowboard, the Sella Ronda has an extended 500 kilometers of slopes in the heart of the Dolomites.

Cross-country skiers will also appreciate the value here. The 12 resorts of the Dolomites offer a total of more than 1000km of trails. The 12km trail from the magnificent Rautal to Pederti and the beautiful trails of the Gsieser are well worth it.

Val di Fassa

Val di Fassa, Trentino, Italy is a beautiful area and comprises the villages of Campitello, Canazei, Falcade, Moena, Pozza di Fassa, Tiers and Vigo di Fassa. In the heart of Val di Fassa lies the village of Canazei offered by Sunweb, beside Campitello. The trails are well maintained and have a direct connection to the famous Sella Ronda. There are long, wide slopes for beginners, but also moguls and black runs for experienced skiers. When there is low snow in the area it can be made artificially. Be sure to check out the slope “Alberto Tomba”, which is one of the most beautiful slopes of Val di Fassa. If you book accommodation in Canazei or Campitello than the pass for Val di Fassa – Corezza is included. It is possible to upgrade to the Dolomiti Superski pass for an extra fee.

Even if you are not skiing, it is nice to stay in this area, especially on the sunny plateau Ciampedie in Cantianaccio. The children will be busy sledding and skiing at Kinderland. This is a park designed for children to have their first contact with snow (starting from 4 years). The area has other activities such as paragliding, ice climbing, snow tubing and sledding. With the ski bus around (€6 per person) you can also visit different villages. Val di Fassa has plenty to do, and is a suitable area for everyone.
