Kronplatz is one of the most diverse and popular ski resorts in South Tyrol. It is named after the peak in the centre of the resort, sometimes also referred to as the Glatzkopf. Kronplatz is surrounded by many villages, including Bruneck, Olang, San Lorenzo, and San Vigilio di Marebbe. From the top of the mountain, you will have a breathtaking panoramic view of the snowy landscape. At an altitude of 2275 metres, Kronplatz offers spectacular views and excellent skiing conditions. There are 121km of well-maintained, extra wide slopes to enjoy for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced skiers. Thanks to its many snow cannons, this resort has guaranteed snow throughout the winter season.
The long blue slope at the Marchner, number 28, will take you on a thrilling descent between the trees. The longest slope in the resort however is 7 kilometres long. Advanced skiers will also get their money's worth: the Silvester slope that leads to the Reischach valley station, the valley descent towards Olang, and the Pre da Peres mogul slope are not to be missed! The rest of the pistes are easy to intermediate. Children will have a great time in the specially designed kids’ areas and on the child-friendly slopes. Cross-country skiers will also be pleased with this holiday destination: with no less than 280 kilometres of trails to explore, including the beautiful, 12km long San Vigilio di Marebbe trail, they will be spoilt for choice!
