Sesto

Sesto is an alpine village sitting at 1130 metres in South Tyrol. Its mountain tops form a natural sundial, with the sun falling on a different peak each hour.

This spot is known for the Drei Zinnen: three peaks recognised as UNESCO World Heritage sites. Thanks to Sesto’s central location within the ski area, it is a fantastic place to explore from. Most of the slopes in the ski area can be found on Mount Helm (Monte Elmo), which offers fantastic, panoramic views of the landscape.

You can enjoy a thrilling black run down into the valley, or to take the gondola down. Children can practice on the wide beginner's piste, Waldheim. A main road runs into the centre of Sesto, where there are several shops and restaurants available.

Map

Drei Zinnen

Drei Zinnen is a recognised UNESCO World Heritage site. This ski area has been crowned several times as the top destination for a winter holiday.

This area is home to real ski enthusiasts. The environment is incredibly beautiful with 5 interconnected mountains and 110 kilometres of slopes to enjoy the Drei Zinnen is one of a kind destination.

Do you want to explore several peaks of the Dolomites during one holiday? Then take the  Giro Delle Cime ski tour; where you ski through sprawling landscapes.

For the little ones, the family-friendly mountain Haunold is the best. There are several small ski lifts from the valley that are perfect for the first downhill runs. In addition to the practice slopes, there are 5 lifts, which provide 23 kilometres of fun. There are 4 ski huts and the track is lit at night. Perfect for families!

Do you not feel like skiing one day? Find the toboggan run or go to the cabin lift 'Rotwand' where you can feed reindeer. If you are very lucky you can also meet wild reindeer on the slopes.
