Arabba

At an altitude of 1600m, Arabba is apart of the mighty Dolomites, in the province of Belluno. It is located at the foot of Passo Pordoi and Passo Campolongo. It is a relatively quiet village with a few shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. This ski area is perfect for advanced skier/snowboards as it has direct access to Sella Ronda and the many black and red slopes in this area. Along the slopes there are many traditional huts to enjoy a snack and a drink. From this area it is also possible to reach Canazei in Val di Fassa, and Selva in the Val Gardena area. From the same lift it is also possible to ski over the fairly manageable blue slopes via the Passo Campolongo towards Corvara. On the other side of Arabba, the lifts give you access to Porta Vescovo Marmolada glacier.

For non skiers there are plenty of fun activities too. There is an ice rink, dog sledding, helicopter rides, ten pin bowling and snow mobile rides. Sunweb has the best range of ski packages in Arabba. From all inclusive hotels to simple apartments, there are options to suit all groups and budgets.

Map

Arabba-Marmolada

Twelve ski areas, all under one ski pass: Dolomiti Superski! The breathtaking mountain landscape of the Italian Dolomites offers an astonishing variety of pistes. The Dolomiti Superski pass gives you access to 1,200 kilometres of diverse slopes and 475 ski lifts. Even the most seasoned ski fan will not run out of thing to do there! Experience the convenience of one ski pass for the areas of Val Gardena, Val di Fassa, Arabba-Marmolada, Alta Badia, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Plan de Corones, 3 Cime, Valle di Fiemme, San Martino di Castrozza, Valle Isarco, Alpe Lusia San Pellegrino, and Civetta.

The legendary Sella Ronda (40km long), a circuit for intermediate skiers, passes through four of these twelve ski areas (Val Gardena, Val di Fassa, Alta Badia, and Arabba-Marmolada). On skis or on a snowboard, the Sella Ronda takes about 5 - 6 hours to complete, covering 42km kilometres of slopes in the heart of the Dolomites. It will also give you direct access to over 500km of pistes to explore in connected resorts. It is an experience you will never forget!

Cross-country skiers will also love the Dolomites. The 12 ski areas offer a total of more than 1000 kilometres of trails. The 12-kilometre-long trail from the beautiful Rautal to Pederti, and the beautiful trails in the Gsiesertal and Antholzertal valleys will already be well-known to fans.

Skiing in Arabba-Marmolada

Arabba-Marmolada is a snow-sure ski area in Italy that offers a beautiful view of the Sella massif and the Marmolada glacier, where there is always snow. Arabba is located between two mountain passes, Passo Pordoi and Passo Campolongo, and is part of the famous Sella Ronda.

The ski area is very diverse and is particularly suitable for more experienced skiers and snowboarders, thanks to its challenging slopes and fun off-piste opportunities. Take the ski lift to Porta Vescovo to return to Arabba through the fantastic snow on the northern pistes, via red and black runs. Through Passo Fedaia, you can also take on the challenge of some glacier skiing. For an easier route, head towards the sunny slopes of Passa Campolongo. If you’re an intermediate skier, don’t miss out on the Sella Ronda ski circuit! This route will take you all around the Sella massif and can be easily accessed from Arabba. It takes 5 - 6 hours to complete.

Arabba-Marmolada is a sunny but snow-sure area. With a ski pass, you can use all of the ski lifts and access 1220 kilometres of slopes there! This pass will also give you access to the Val di Fassa and Alta Badia ski areas.
