Corvara is an authentic alpine village in Italy, at the foot of the Sella Massif. Corvara is part of the Alta Badia ski area, which has a total of 130 kilometres of ski slopes to enjoy. It is also part of the overarching Dolomiti Superski area, which has no less than 1200 kilometres of slopes. The highest point that you can reach in the Alta Badia ski area is the Vallon ski lift station, at an altitude of over 2500 metres.
Corvara is in South Tyrol, where good food is paramount, both on and off the slopes. The Alta Badia ski area is normally very snow-sure, so you’ll have the perfect conditions for skiing. The slopes are easily accessible from Corvara via the free ski bus services. Corvara’s slopes are suitable for beginner to advanced skiers.
Corvara features a wide range of accommodation, from luxury hotels to spacious apartments. Its gastronomy is of the highest quality, and there is plenty to keep you entertained after an active day in the snow. For example, there is the Vinotheque Ursus Ladinicus, where you can get acquainted with the amazing local wines with a wine tasting. At the L’Murin nightclub, you can join in the lively après-ski scene. If you’d prefer to enjoy a drink or a bite to eat at a bar, check out Toccami, L’Got, and Snack Bar Corf. But what it’s all about are your skiing options. You will be directly by the Sella Ronda circuit, with a variety of slopes to choose from. The nearby villages of Colfosco, San Cassiano, La Villa, and Badia can all be reached on skis.
