Chantemerle is a lively French village with a famous black Olympic run aptly named the "Olympique". This descent was made famous by the pride of Serre Chevalier Vallée: Luc Alphand. On the edge of the piste you will also find a hotel with the same name: Luc Alphand, the French world champion alpine skier.
The beautiful wide pistes lead to numerous lively bars and further into the village you will find traditional restaurants where you can enjoy a raclette or cheese fondue. Setting out from here you can choose your mode of transport: there is a chair lift, a big cable car and an "egg lift".
The ski resort of Chantemerle is perfect for skiers and snowboarders at every level of experience. The less advanced skier can practice on the wide pistes at the middle station while advanced skiers and snowboarders can easily access the longer more challenging pistes of Villeneuve and Monêtiers via the pistes of Chantemerle.
