La Plagne is part of Paradiski, a huge region in France with something to please every ski enthusiast. Not surprising when you consider the size of La Plagne itself and the 11 resorts within it. The most famous of these resorts are Belle Plagne, Plagne Centre, the high-altitude Aime La Plagne, Plagne Soleil, and Plagne Bellecôte. You can easily travel between these resorts on skis, thanks to La Plagne’s excellent ski lift network. The plateaus in this ski area are great for beginners, but there are still plenty of challenging slopes for experienced skiers. A La Plagne ski pass will be included with your Sunweb ski package, giving you 225km of piste to explore. Do you want more? You can expand your ski pass to include both La Plagne and Les Arcs with Paradiski Illimite: that’s 425km of piste in total!

But there’s more to La Plagne than just snow. There’s also plenty to do in and around La Plagne off of the slopes. Why not go ice climbing in the Champagny le Haut valley, bobsledding down the Olympic track, or skating on the outdoor rink in La Plagne Bellecôte. If you want to explore the area from a different point of view, there are more than 90 kilometres of cross-country ski trails to enjoy.
Still unsure about whether it’s the destination for you? Check out our 3 reasons you should plan a holiday to La Plagne!
The great, diverse ski area of Paradiski boasts a total of 425 km (264 ml) of pistes. It is made up by the resorts of Les Arcs, Vallandry, La Plagne and Champagny en Vanoise. Since December 2008, the Vanoise Express has connected these areas to each other. This cable lift has a length of 2 km (1.2 ml) and can take 200 people from one side to the other in 4 minutes.
This is a vast area where you can ski or board a big range of altitudes (1250 -3250 m) Paradiski is a great option for both beginner and advanced skiers and snowboarders.
For snowboarding enthusiasts there are four snow parks, and four boarder cross descents. For the true competitors there is also a weekly boarder cross competition! There are plenty of options for the cross country skiing in Paradiski too, with approximately 150km of cross country skiing tracks spread throughout the area.
With two mountain peaks soaring above the 300m mark, there is a fantastic snow record here. Aside from the many kilometers of pistes, there is also plenty to do and see in the resorts themselves. Les Arcs and La Plagne are typically more popular for younger crowds, whilst Vallandry is considerably more peaceful and suited for families.
