Ski holidays in La Plagne take place in a fantastic ski resort consisting of 8 different villages with their own centres and distinct atmospheres. With 225km of pistes and an altitude varying between 1250m and 3250m, skiing in La Plagne offers plenty of great runs for everyone.
We offer a range of ski packages, from cheap and cosy to luxurious and all-inclusive, in various the villages of La Plagne When skiing in La Plagne, all of the villages are connected to each other and together they form a “ladder” up the mountain.
The liveliest of these villages is Bella Plagne, built in a forested area and proving there is much more than just skiing in La Plagne. Belle Plagne has various shops, excellent restaurants and fun après-ski bars. For many visitors, Belle Plagne is the most appealing village in the region. From the Plagne Centre the Funiplagne takes you to the top of the Grande Rochette in only four minutes and nearly all of the accommodations when skiing in La Plagne allow you to ski-in and ski-out, directly to and from your doorstep.
Plagne Soleil, in contrast to Bella Plagne, is a very peaceful village with great views over the mountains and the villages of Plagne Village below. Aside from the apartments and hotels there is a supermarket, a ski shop, a ski school and a restaurant with a bar.
The village of Aime 2000 is at the highest altitude of all the villages as it sits at the top of the mountain. When skiing in La Plagne a visit here will be rewarded with stunning views of Mont Blanc. From Aime 2000 you can access the piste directly or jump in a lift that takes you even higher up the mountain.
For families with children, Plagne Montalbert has proven very popular in recent years. The village is located at an altitude of 1375 meters on the other side of the mountain. It is a welcoming, simple village with a small centre and a few restaurants. We have no Sunweb staff present in this village.
The village of Les Coches is also located in the Paradiski resort at an altitude of 1450 meters. Here you can enjoy skiing through the trees on predominantly blue and red pistes.
If you are staying on a ski holiday in La Plagne you can choose a lift pass for the resort of La Plagne or, for an extra fee, a lift pass for the entire resort of Paradiski. The Paradiski resort consists of La Plagne and Les Arcs/Peisey/Vallandry which are connected to each other by the Vanoise Express.
All flights ski packages to France include bronze ski equipment hire. However, it is often possible to upgrade your ski equipment to a ski package that suits your experience level.
Skiing in La Plagne takes place in a modern ski area which is part of the Paradiski Region, consisting of the 4 different ski destinations La Plagne, Champagny en Vanoise, Les Coches and Montchavin. The highest point of this ski area is approximately 3250 meters, which means that a La Plagne ski holiday is very often a snow-sure ski holiday.
Skiing in La Plagne
Home to loads of ski lifts, a La Plagne ski holiday offers a total of 225km of slopes and caters to all levels of skiing and snowboarding experience. This makes skiing in La Plagne so enjoyable and diverse, and for those who want to challenge themselves on a long run, there is a 15km run in the ski area.
Although skiing in La Plagne offers enough within itself, be sure to check out the lift pass for the Paradiski region, which will you offer much more to your La Plagne ski holiday. In France, wearing a helmet is not mandatory but recommended (especially for children). In ski classes (for all ages), it is often compulsory.

Food and Drinks:
Cheese, croissants, baguettes and wine! It is possible to drink tap water.

As a general rule, the shops are open on Monday/Friday from 09:00 to 19:00. However, some shops may close over lunchtime. On Sunday and Monday, a selection of shops are closed. Some supermarkets are open on Sunday mornings.

Travelling by car:
Most motorways in France require you to pay a toll fee. The Pas Piccolo San Bernardo is closed the whole winter (November - June). Always check the locat weather reports before departing.
In some cities and towns it is obligaroty to have a "environmentsl sticker". It is not possible to buy these stickers en route. You will have to order them online before you leave home. French authorities advise you to print out the form and the confirmation of the sticker if it does not arrive at your home in time. You can find the form on:

You will fly with EasyJet or Jet2 to Geneva. This flight takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. Meals and drinks are not included during the flight.

Paradiski Illimité ski pass: With a 6- or 7-day ski pass for the extensive Paradiski area, you get a half-day ski pass for Paradiski for free. This is valid for the afternoon (12:30 - 17:00) on the day before the start of the ordered ski pass.
When you book, it is indicated for which days your ski pass is valid (e.g. Sunday to Friday). If you want your ski pass to start on a different day than indicated in the booking steps, you must contact our contact centre by telephone. The booking can then be adjusted. It is not possible to change your ski pass onsite.
Ski passes for children up to and including 4 years old are free. This discount can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting the ski pass.
Please note: From the age of 75, reduced rates apply locally, but you cannot book this ski pass through us. For this ski pass, you must pay approximately €10.00 per ski pass for administration costs onsite. If you are entitled to this ski pass, you must choose 'no ski pass' whilst booking. You can pick up this ski pass with a discount on presentation of your proof of identity.
Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem the ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of the ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further into the booking steps. The discount for “no ski pass” can also be found during the booking process.

When you book additional ski equipment of the 'Gold' or 'Diamond' class, you can exchange this once a week for snowboard equipment or free ride skis (not on weekends), for no additional charge.

Snowboard lessons in Plagne Bellecôte start on Mondays. The ski lessons are from Sunday to Friday. It is not possible to book ski lessons for short travel times. You can arrange this onsite.
