Orcières

In the Orcières-Merlette ski area lies the modern skiing village of Orcières, a cosy new-build village with well-maintained accommodations. The sun shines on average 300 days a year here! As in most southern French ski resorts, it is mostly those who love the sun that stay in Orcières.

Although still relatively unknown, Orcières has built up a name over the years as a family village, and is particularly child-friendly. In addition to fantastic slopes, you will also find a lively après-ski scene here, and many other fun activities: dog sledding, ice skating, swimming, hiking and cross-country skiing. In short: Orcières is a versatile and sunny skiing destination for the whole family.

Orcières-Merlette

Orcières-Merlette is one of the most extensive ski areas in the southern French Alps. It has over a hundred kilometres of slopes and is also very sunny, with 300 days of sunshine a year! The ideal combination of skiing and sunshine.

The area is modern and is perfect for advanced ski enthusiasts, due to the large number of red slopes available. There is also plenty to do off of the slopes in Orcières. How about paragliding, waterfall rappelling, or speed riding for example? Traditional sports are also possible, such as dog sledding, swimming, hiking, and cross-country skiing.

Want to discover another ski area for a day? The ski area of Le Massif du Dévoluy, including the La Joue du Loup and Superdevoluy resorts, are only an hour away. A day pass costs approximately €36.
