Montgenèvre (1,560m altitude) is an alpine village in France, close to the border with Italy. It has a rich skiing history and was first constructed in 1907. During the 70s and 80s, many new buildings were constructed, but the ski resort has retained its authentic charm.
Montgenèvre offers 85km of piste to explore, including 8 green slopes, 13 blue slopes, 17 red slopes, and 10 black slopes. This gives you a nice balance between easy and more challenging runs, with something for everyone to enjoy. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced skiers will all feel at home in Montgenèvre. It’s the perfect ski resort for cross-country skiers too, with over 70km of high-quality trails that the French national team like to train on.
