Les Menuires is located in the beautiful Belleville Valley in France, between Val Thorens and St. Martin de Belleville. It is part of the Les Trois Vallées ski area, the largest skiable area in the world. It features a variety of slopes and is an excellent destination for both beginner and advanced skiers. It is particularly suitable for families and has the Famille-Plus certification to prove it. On top of that, it has fantastic off-piste opportunities and optimal snow conditions. A Les Menuires ski pass will be included with your ski holiday if you book through Sunweb, but you can also upgrade it to a Les Trois Vallées ski pass. That way, you’ll have unlimited access to this massive ski area.
Les Menuires first became a ski resort in the sixties and has grown in popularity and size ever since. The difference in architectural style between its districts is striking. In its first district, La Croisette, you can still see the original Brutalist architecture from the resort’s inception. The large apartment complexes in the Reberty 2000 and Les Bruyères districts have an authentic alpine style that uses wood and natural stone. The Le Bettaix, Praranger, and Le Levassaix feel more like small villages thanks to their charming, small-scale chalets.
Sunweb offers several types of accommodation in Les Menuires. Are you looking for a family-friendly chalet, a luxury hotel, or a ski-in, ski-out apartment by the slopes? There’s sure to be an accommodation that’s perfect for you. Les Menuires has the unique advantage of having a variety of districts suited to different travellers’ needs. Prefer to be right in the centre, close to the slopes, or in a quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle? In Les Menuires, you have the power to tailor your holiday experience.
The fun doesn’t have to be over when you take off your skis. There are plenty of other fun activities to take part in during your trip to Les Menuires. Think snowshoeing, dogsledding, paragliding, and even igloo building. For some relaxation, there are also many spas, swimming pools, and yoga classes available. In La Croisette, you can soak up the sun on one of the terraces or enjoy some shopping.
Les Menuires is a ski resort in the Belleville valley. Together with Saint Martin de Belleville and Val Thorens it makes up the ski region of Les Trois Vallées.
The ski area of Les Menuires is divided into its own region and the enormous Les Trois Vallées. The area of Les Menuires itself consists of 62 pistes (160 km / 100 ml) and 48 lifts of which no less than 13 depart directly from Les Menuires. Queues are a rarity here. Recently a new cable car between Les Menuires and St. Martin de Belleville has started to run, which improves the connection between the two areas even further.
Novice and intermediate skiers and snowboarders have excellent options here since there are lots of varied pistes. Do you want a more challenging holiday and do you enjoy visiting different areas? Then you should definitely head for Les Trois Vallées, the biggest interconnected ski resort in the World! Here you can venture on some huge ski tours, taking you through all three valleys, just make sure you can get back before the lifts close and your dinner gets cold. This is a perfect destination that is popular and affordable!
Check out our holiday packages for skiing in Les Menuires! You can either book an all inclusive holiday or choose to book a self drive holiday. All flight packages to France include free bronze ski equipment hire. However, it is always possible to upgrade your ski equipment to a ski package that suits your experience level.
