With 200km of groomed slopes, 70% of which over 2000 metres in altitude, it is a paradise for all skiers. There are a number of fun off-piste descents there, beginner areas with stunning mountain views, and the popular 2 Alpes Freestyle Land, at an altitude of 2600 metres. If all that has you chomping at the bit to start skiing, there’s good news! Les Deux Alpes is busy constructing the brand-new and unprecedented Jandri 3S cable car. That means that from December 2024, it’ll be easier than ever to reach the slopes and start glacier skiing in style and comfort.
For those who like a bit of adventure, La Grave is the place to go. There is one blue slope there, and the rest are solely off-piste descents. You can expand your Les Deux Alpes ski pass to include La Grave, where you will be taken via a snowcat upon presentation of your pass. We only recommend skiing in La Grave if you are an experience skier with the help of a professional local guide.
