The nearby skiing area offers a range of slopes for all skill levels, from wide and gentle slopes for beginners, to steeper and more challenging slopes for advanced skiers. The well-maintained and snow-sure pistes make for an unforgettable skiing experience, and the breathtaking views are sure to steal your heart. With the ski bus or your own car, you can reach Samnaun or Nauders in no time at all, where you can take the gondola up to the slopes.
Please note: it is not possible to extend your ski pass onsite. If you would like a ski pass that also allows you to ski in additional, nearby areas (e.g., Ischgl-Sammaun or Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis), you can purchase one on location. You must then select 'no ski pass' during the booking process.

Zwei Länder Skiarena
The beautiful Zwei Länder Skiarena extends across both Austria and Italy and offers an abundance of well-maintained slopes for skiers of all skill levels.
The Zwei Länder Skiarena consists of three ski areas: Schöneben-Haideralm, Watles, and Nauders Bergkastel. These ski areas are not connected to each other, but they are all accessible under one ski pass. This is the Zwei Länder Skiarena cross-border ski region. You will find no less than 159km of slopes to enjoy throughout North Tyrol (Austria) and South Tyrol (Italy).
The bustling village of Nauders is located at the foot of this ski region. That makes it the perfect destination for families or a groups of friends who are looking for a relaxing skiing holiday with a touch of fun. Travel between the three ski areas with ease by catching the ski bus.

Travelling by car:
Snow chains are obligatory in the Alps. You need a toll permit for the motorways in Austria. You can buy the permit at the AA in the UK or in Austria at the major border crossings. The European Commission advises you to wear a safety reflector jacket in the event of a break down or accident. This vest can be purchased from the AA in the UK as well.

The voltage is 230 volt.

UK mobile phones work in Austria as well.

Lift pass, lessons and ski/board hire
A Zwei Länder Skiarena ski pass is included in the tour price. It is also possible to purchase an expanded ski pass onsite, for access to more ski areas (e.g. Ischgl-Sammaun or Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis). To do this, select "no ski pass" when booking and purchase a Ski 6 pass or the Snowcard Gold on location.
You can see the surcharges and discounts for extending your ski pass or no ski pass in step 1 (preferences) of the booking process. Discounts for 2024/2025:
Ski passes for children born after 01/01/2019 are free. Children born between 01/01/2006 - 31/12/2018 will receive a discount on their ski pass. These discounts can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting your ski pass.
Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem your ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of your ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further in the booking process. A discount for “no ski pass” can also be found during the booking process.
You cannot book lessons in advance. You can arrange this yourself onsite.
