Skiing in Kaltenbach

Kaltenbach is a cozy place in the Ziller Valley, 17 km from Mayrhofen, with a great ice rink and a children's creche. There is a direct lift connection with Hochfugen. The après-ski is mainly situated in the bars around the gondola at the Postalm or the Tiroler Stadl. You will also find a pizzeria. Food and drink prices in Kaltenbach are lower than most other resorts.

The Hochzillertal has wide slopes and on Wednesday and Friday evenings the piste is illuminated at Kaltenbach for night skiing. It is also possible to walk to a beautiful waterfall in 30 minutes.
