A big plus of Zell am See is its weather. Count on lots of sunshine and a thick layer of snow during the ski season, especially since you can go glacier skiing in Kaprun. With Lake Zell in the distance and the snow-covered slopes and conifers in the background, the views whilst skiing there are phenomenal. There is also plenty to do in the village itself.
