Hotel Alphof is an authentic and friendly Austrian hotel just 50 metres from the picturesque centre of Fulpmes. The ski lift is 800 metres away, but you can get there easily via the ski bus which stops outside the hotel and can take you to the Stubai Glacier. The rooms are spacious and all feature a balcony with a fantastic views of the surroundings.
When you have had enough fresh air and skiing, you are welcome to warm up your muscles in the spa area of Hotel Alphof. You'll find a sauna, an infrared cabin, and a Turkish bath. For an extra fee, you can also book a relaxing massage or beauty treatment. The children will be entertained in the superb games room and can relax in the TV room. A breakfast buffet and a four-course dinner are served in the charming restaurant each day.
The village of Fulmes, that is typified by its many wrought iron gables and balconies, is situated at a height of 960 metres. The village has its own skiing area called Schlick 2000. This area has approximately 23 kilometres of pistes and two cable cars. There is, of course, access to the extensive Stubaital area. Apart from skiing there’s plenty to do in Fulpmes. You are in the right place for après ski and for various sport activities such as snow scootering and parasailing.
If you book a holiday to Fulpmes, a Schlick 2000 ski pass will be included. For a surcharge, you can also expand your ski pass into the whole Stubai Valley with a Stubai Ski Pass. You will then have access to the Schlick 2000 (25km of slopes and 9 ski lifts), Elfer (9km of slopes and 4 ski lifts), Serles (5.7km of slopes and 5 ski lifts), and Stubai Glacier (65km of slopes and 26 ski lifts) ski areas.

Shops are usually open from Monday until Friday from 09.00 AM to 18.00 PM (some shops close during the afternoon). Most shops are closed on Sunday.
Travelling by car:
Snow chains are obligatory in the Alps. You need a toll permit for the motorways in Austria. You can buy the permit at the AA in the UK or in Austria at the major border crossings. The European Commission advises you to wear a safety reflector jacket in the event of a break down or accident. This vest can be purchased from the AA in the UK as well.

UK mobile phones work in Austria as well.
Travel documents:
You need to be in the possession of a valid passport to travel to Austria.

Ski passes for children born after 01/01/2015 are free. Children born between 01/01/2008 - 31/12/2014 will receive a discount on their ski pass. These discounts can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting your ski pass.
Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem your ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of your ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further in the booking process. A discount for “no ski pass” can also be found during the booking process.
