They can let off steam in both the Adventure Land and the fairytale Winter Wonderland there. From go-karts and trampolines to a children's cinema, a bowling alley, and even ski lessons for the little ones, they’ll be sure to be kept entertained. But that's not all! Discover the beautiful garden of no less than 5000m², where a heated swimming lake and water slides provide endless fun. Animal-lovers can visit the special Kesselgrubs Pets World. There you will find cute chickens, goats, rabbits, and sheep. And how about pony riding at the Kesselgrubs Pony Farm?
After an active day, parents can unwind in the wellness centre, the heated swimming lake, or in the massive swimming pool. In the atmospheric hotel restaurant, an extensive breakfast buffet will be available in the mornings and a delicious dinner menu will be served each evening. For the kids, a special children's menu or children's buffet will be available.

Due to its very central location between the Salzburger Sportwelt ski areas and the even more extensive Ski Amade ski area, Altenmarkt is a perfect place to stay during your ski holiday.
Ambiance
Altenmarkt is located at an altitude of 865 meters and, together with the alpine village of Zauchensee, forms a range of challenging ski slopes. In the center of Altenmarkt you will find beautiful old houses, surrounded by breathtaking nature. The village itself is cozy and attractive and there are various options for a cozy après-ski. Salzburger Sportwelt - Ski Amadé
The ski areas of Flachau, Wagrain, St. Johann–Alpendorf, Radstadt, Altenmarkt–Zauchensee, Kleinarl, Eben and Filzmoos combine to form the ski resort Salzburger Sportwelt. 350 km (217 ml) of pistes and more than 90 lifts make this area the ideal option for skiers and boarders who enjoy longer ski tours.
Easy and intermediate pistes means that both novices and semi advanced skiers and boarders can enjoy the entire area. In addition there are also a few more difficult black runs, mainly in Zauchensee (to be reached via Flachauwinkl). Filzmoos is not directly connected to the other resorts. In Filzmoos you will find 8 lifts and 13 km (8 ml) of varied pistes. Salzburger Sportwelt offers the cross country skier approximately 220 km (137 ml) of cross country tracks.
With the ‘Ski Amadé’ lift pass you can also ski in the resorts of Schladming-Dachstein, Grossarltal, Hochkönig and Gastein. These resorts are not connected with each other but can be reached by public or private transport. Ski Amadé has 860 km (534 ml) of well kept pistes and 270 modern cable cars. More than enough to keep you busy!

Lift pass, lessons and ski/board hire
A Ski Amadé lift pass is included in the holiday price.
You can see the surcharges and discounts for, for example, extending your lift pass or no lift pass in step 1 (preferences) of the booking process. Ski lift passes for children born after 01/01/2019 are free. Identification is required when collecting your ski pass. For children born after 01/01/2019, you will need to purchase a Mini Card on location (approx. 8 EUR per person/per day). In this case, you need to select “no ski pass” during the booking process.
Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem your ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of your ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further in the booking process. A discount for “no ski pass” can also be found during the booking process.
You can not specify ski and snowboard rental directly when booking. Check out our FAQ for more information about equipment rental.
