Götzens

Götzens is a quiet, pretty town, situated on a sunny plateau at about 10 kilometers away from the valley station of Axamer Lizum, 2 kilometers from the village of Axams and approximately 7 kilometers from Innsbruck. In Götzens there are two practice lifts, a ski school and two beautiful toboggan runs from Götzneralm and Birgitzeralm. From Lizum is a long descent of about 7 kilometers. Götzens is about 300 meters away from the Hotel Edelweiss. In the evening you can have fun in one of the cozy bars such as the popular Bini's Cafe Bar and disco. For fun the whole family can go for a nice spin on the ice rink of fun Götzens.

Map

Axamer-Lizum

This small-scale ski area has more than 40km of slopes, most of which are red. The area became known from the Innsbruck Olympic Games in 1964 and 1976.

Axamer Lizum is not too expensive and has almost no queues. In addition to the pistes there are plenty of possibilities next to the slopes for off-piste skiers and boarders. The most beautiful ski slope in the ski area is the blue 1, a beautiful long descent.

Axamer-Lizum

  • Very snow safe
  • 4 spectacular toboggan runs
