St. Anton am Arlberg

Experience the ultimate skiing experience in St. Anton am Arlberg

At the foot of the Arlberg Pass lies St. Anton am Arlberg, a vibrant village with international allure. It is located at an altitude of approximately 1,300 metres and is one of the oldest and most renowned ski resorts in Tyrol, Austria. The larger Ski Arlberg area is also a great hub for skiing, as it connects popular villages such as Lech and Zürs to St. Anton. This makes St. Anton a hotspot for the European jet set, several royal families, and diehard skiers. In this snow-sure region, you will not only find challenging and diverse slopes, but also luxurious and cosy ski villages with a lively après-ski scene.

Your winter getaway to St. Anton

Of course, the main reason to come to St. Anton am Arlberg is to ski or snowboard. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced winter sports enthusiast, you will find plenty of opportunities there. There are three glorious mountains for you to conquer there: Galzig, Rendl, and Valluga. All three of them are known for their scenic and thrilling slopes. This excellent ski resort is especially suited to advanced skiers since there are a wide selection of steep and challenging slopes to get your adrenaline pumping there. After a day of fun in the snow, you can relax in your home-away-from-home. Whether you are looking for a simple apartment close to the centre, a luxurious ski-in, ski-out hotel right in the middle of the action, or a fully equipped family-friendly chalet, you will have plenty of choice. Sunweb offers a wide range of accommodation throughout the entire ski season, even if you opt for a last-minute ski package. Choose from St. Anton’s top hotels, including the exceptional VAYA Resorts.

Snow conditions and sights in St. Anton

Get your skis ready, because there is plenty of snow waiting for you when skiing in St. Anton am Arlberg. The snow conditions are perfect for ski enthusiasts, especially when the sun is showing its best side! Don’t forget to pack a beanie and gloves though, as the high-altitude ski slopes will be colder than in the village. When you’re not skiing, you can learn more about the history of the sport at the fascinating St. Anton am Arlberg Museum or take in the fantastic view from the Ulmer Hütte. Don’t miss your chance to enjoy Austria’s world-famous après-ski scene and head to Mooserwirt for afternoon drinks by the slopes. You’ll always find something to do nearby in St. Anton.
