The Pal-Arinsal La Massana ski area consists of three smaller ski areas: Pal, Arinsal, and Arcalis. It is located near the Spanish border, in a wooded area. The smaller areas, Pal-Arinsal and Ordino-Arcalis, are easily accessible even though they are not connected. The area has 92 kilometres of marked pistes at different altitudes. Because the gondola offers a good connection between the ski areas, there are many opportunities for beginners but also for ski enthusiasts who likes to take on a challenge.
The long, narrow pistes in Arinsal are a highlight of this region. This is a great ski area for beginners in particular. There is also plenty to do for snowboarders. In Arinsal, there is a large freestyle park and in Ordino there are the best off-piste options in Andorra. Experienced hikers can explore the difficult mountain trails in the Ordino valley.
