1: Unlimited number of kilometres of pistes

The Zillertal is a ski region with no less than 447 kilometres of pistes and consists of several smaller ski resorts. You can easily go by bus or by train from one ski resort to the next, always discovering new runs! 2: Snowsure with the Hintertux-Glacier

The Hintertux- Glacier is located in the ski area of Zillertal 3000. 3: Innovative ski area

This ski region keeps innovating, with the newly opened ski lift in 2016 in Gerlos and a new black run which will take you to the Zell am Ziller Valley. This means less waiting in queues and more ski fun for you!

4: Other Snow fun

There are so many other ways, besides skiing and snowboarding, to have fun in the snow in the Zillertal! For example, you can whizz down the 7km slope on a sledge, go snow-tubing in Gerlos. Or if that is too much excitement for you, just take it easy and breathe in the fresh crisp air while going on a snowshoe hike.

5: Child-friendly

Children can learn how to ski in a playful and fun way in the Zillertal. Königsleiten is a small yet quaint village, situated at 1600 meters and the ski instructors do their utmost to let the kids have fun while learning.

6: Après-Ski

When talking about après-ski, Mayrhofen and Gerlos is the place to be! Enjoy a good Austrian beer after a long day on the slopes at either the Icebar or the CinCin Bar.

7: Early bird skiing

In March 2018, it will be possible to take the ski lift up as early as 06:55 in the morning in Zell am Ziller, Gerlos and Königsleiten! This way you will be sure that you are the very first on the slopes. You’ll hear the snow crunch beneath your skis on the freshly prepared pistes and you will have the whole slope almost to yourself!
